Waylon Thompson has over 20 years of experience practicing law. The majority of that experience has been earned representing accident victims and insurance policy holders here in Panama City, but he also spent 6-years practicing insurance defense law in Alabama and Florida. He is currently admitted to practice law in Florida, Alabama and Georgia, and has made a name for himself as a tenacious defender of victim’s rights. Ironically, it may be Mr. Thompson’s experience representing insurance companies that now allows him to so effectively represent accident victims and policyholders in their fight for justice. His first-hand knowledge of the tactics insurance companies use to deny coverage has become a powerful tool to ensure injured people get the compensation they deserve.

Mr. Thompson is a proud graduate of Auburn University, and earned his Juris Doctor from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law before moving to Panama City, Florida to begin his career as an attorney. Today, Mr. Thompson is certified by both the Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a specialist in civil trial law. That certification is the highest level of recognition awarded by the Florida Bar.

Mr. Thompson’s achievements have not gone unnoticed, and in 2008, he was appointed to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Florida Bar, an organization that assists the Governor of Florida in reviewing the qualifications of candidates seeking judicial appointments.
