Zachary Taylor joined the personal injury law firm of Manuel & Thompson in 2003, and specializes in all types of personal injury, auto accidents, insurance disputes, and wrongful death cases. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Taylor served Panama City and the surrounding areas of Bay, Gulf, Washington, Calhoun, Holmes, and Jackson Counties as an Assistant State Attorney in the 14th Judicial Circuit Court. This meant handling criminal cases, and making sure that those who broke the law were brought to justice.
Mr. Taylor continues that quest for justice at Manuel & Thompson, now working to ensure that his clients receive a fair settlement when they have been injured in an accident, or denied the compensation they’re rightfully entitled to. Mr. Taylor earned his undergraduate degree in Criminology from Florida State University, and graduated from the Mississippi College School of Law, where he won the Trial Advocacy Book Award for Outstanding Trial Advocacy Skills.
When he’s not in the courtroom, Mr. Taylor teaches in Gulf Coast State College’s Criminology program, and is a frequent lecturer at the Florida State University Underwater Crime Scene Investigation Program. His work has been featured on CNN, The Discovery Channel, and The Science Channel.
