A Bay County, Panama City jury recently awarded $920,000 in damages to a man who was lawfully riding his motorcycle in Panama City, Florida in good conditions and in daylight hours when he was hit by another driver. Our client suffered a fractured pelvic bone and underwent surgery on both wrists. The defendant, who hit our client, testified he had the right of way and that the Plaintiff was actually at fault. At trial, our team of experienced trial attorneys was able to show through the use of aerial imagery and expert accident reconstruction testimony that the defendant driver caused the crash. In addition, our team utilized expert testimony from a traffic engineer regarding local traffic signals which proved our client had the right of way and was not at fault. The jury agreed.
