Lauren Dodge is an attorney at Manuel & Thompson, P.A., and has been practicing law with the firm since 2019. Lauren practices in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on first-party property claims, bad faith claims, personal injury, premises liability and eminent domain. She also handles civil forfeiture cases as the Deputy General Counsel for the Bay County Sheriff’s Office. Lauren is licensed to practice law before all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
Lauren graduated from the University of Florida where she obtained a degree in Political Science. Lauren earned her law degree from Florida State University in 2017, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, and received book awards in the following courses: Legal Writing II, Legislation and Regulation, and Florida Administrative Litigation. During her time at FSU College of Law, Lauren was a Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, and Notes and Comments editor for the FSU Law Review. She also participated in the study abroad program at the University of Oxford.
Lauren has a passion for volunteerism and service, and is an active member of the Junior League of Panama City where she currently serves as the Chair of the 5k Fundraiser. Lauren is also a member of the 2021 – 2022 Leadership Bay Class, the Bay County Bar Association, and the St. Andrew’s Bay Inn of Court.
